One of the biggest changes to this game is it is now 64-bit only, meaning it can now take full advantage of all RAM in modern computers hence, the issue of the game running out of RAM is eliminated. The game is now much more optimized for modern PCs with newer hardware as well as software. Now users can create new custom scenarios or import and play old scenarios created with the editing tools.

Īnno 1404: History Edition released for Windows through the Epic Games Store, Uplay, Steam, GamersGate, Gamesplanet and GMG on June 25, 2020. The game, developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, uses an enhanced version of the proprietary game engine from the all-time popular Anno series. If som1 finds out I will just remove it right away For now.Anno 1404: History Edition is a single-player multi-player strategy game and an updated version of the 2009 game Anno 1404. Still takes about 1 hour per model to make I guess. It sill takes effort of importing and fixing $%&^! and adjusting the texture. It would take up all my time Cant do that with the job I have at the moment. well basically every building you would need. If I had to make 6 different houses, a hospital, police station. Making a model of the same quality like in Anno 1404 probably takes 2 days fulltime work (with texturing and everything). And I want to do it myself However, I just don't have the time to do it. Yea im capable of making very detailed 3D models. Sorry if I ruin the fun, but I figure it's better to know than get blindsided by it.
And looking at the walls and tower you seem capable of modelling and texturing. I'd always suggest making your own from scratch taking inspiration from the game - that's the safe way to go about it. Whether or not anyone will care/notice I can't say, but you should keep in mind that it could get you in trouble. Using the game for reference is totally fine, but if you have extracted the models from the game, then you're basicly doing something illegal. It's all about using/distributing someone elses intellectual property. When it comes to copyright whether or not you make money doesn't matter.
So yea, it's cheaty but its just for fun! Therefore (if the Keep / Castle is a Uni) it is not realistic to have 3 Castles in 1 city. Well, I care more about if the city looks genuinely medieval. All buildings have increased radius, increased capacity and more. PS: Some buildings will be kind of cheat buildings. This will allow you to build a complete medieval city without modern buildings in between.Īny suggestions are welcome! You can view the collection here: In the future, I will add a firestation, police station and more. So far I have walls, a tower, some houses, a chapel, a church and a keep. Some of them are self made but for now most of them come from the game Anno 1404. Have you ever wanted to play Anno 1404 within cities skylines?! Well now you can! I am making a collection of buildings (Medieval style).
